Belgodère is a charming hilltop village in the Balagne region. Overlooking the Reginu valley and offering an uninterrupted view of the Mediterranean Sea, this typically Corsican village will win you over with its traditional architecture, its historic heritage and its varied landscapes. Founded in the Middle Ages, Belgodère still retains traces of its past, notably in the ruins of its ancient castle, which overlooks the village and offers panoramic views of the valley and surrounding mountains. Just 800 m away is Lozari beach, one of the most beautiful in Balagne. With its fine sand and turquoise waters, this beach is ideal for swimming, relaxing and water sports such as kayaking and paddle boarding. It is also bordered by maquis, the typical vegetation of Corsica, making it both wild and accessible, perfect for a day out with family or friends. The area around Belgodère is ideal for outdoor activities. Hiking trails allow you to discover the wild beauty of the Balagne region, with its holm oak forests, fragrant scrubland and panoramic views of the sea and mountains. Golf enthusiasts can also enjoy the Reginu golf course, a 9-hole course set in the heart of a lush green valley.

Belgodère is ideally located for exploring the Balagne region, known as the garden of Corsica because of its lush vegetation. The surrounding hilltop villages, such as Pigna, Sant'Antonino and Speloncato, are treasures of authenticity, with their artisan workshops, local produce and breathtaking panoramas. In Balagne, gastronomy has pride of place. Belgodère and the surrounding area offer plenty of opportunities to sample authentic Corsican products: artisanal charcuterie, sheep's milk cheeses, honey, olive oil and local wines. The village's inns and small restaurants offer local specialities such as fiadone (a cake made from brocciu) and the famous figatelli, allowing visitors to savour traditional cuisine in an enchanting setting.
