To make life easier for you, and because we've been there too, we've created Familytrip, THE booking centre for weekends and holidays in France for all families. And we do mean all. What are Familytrip's objectives?
Today, Familytrip has more than 1,000 destinations, more than 150 VACAF-approved destinations, more than 5,000 bookings a year, and more than 50,000 families who have gone on holiday thanks to us.
Familytrip: a family story
Let's go back in time to just before 2010, the year Familytrip was officially launched, when a young mum was trying to plan her very first holiday with baby.
The evidence was overwhelming: the path to booking a holiday was difficult and full of pitfalls. You have to find an establishment that offers a family room, childcare equipment and services adapted to babies and parents. And, above all, you have to make sure that the establishment wants to welcome all these little people. It's not easy to find your way through the jungle of offers and booking sites for family holidays. And when you've got a baby or children, it's not always possible to wander around online for hours looking for and booking holidays...
That's when the idea of a holiday booking site specially designed for families with children and babies was born. Together with her husband, and then with a second young father who had just joined the adventure, they set up a plan of action. An expedition was launched: the two budding entrepreneurs criss-crossed France in search of Family-Friendly hotels, holidays and residences. Risking their lives, they tried out some dangerous activities: plunges into the pool, massages in a spa, toboggan races, colouring sessions, trampolines... Legend even has it that they slept in a caravan and a tree house...
On their return from their expedition, they set up a website listing all the establishments, holidays, activities and destinations suitable for families.
Today, the Familytrip family has grown. It's a small, young family team that works happily together (even on Monday mornings!).
Booking a family holiday is child's play
There's no need to take time off work or send your children to the nanny to book your next holiday with Familytrip. The site is responsive, accessible on computer, tablet and smartphone. Book your family holiday in just a few clicks, with all the extra services and activities on offer.
To find the holiday that's right for you, target your searches by destination, by theme and filter the results by criteria: with children's clubs, baby pack, parking, pet, hotel with swimming pool, accessible by train...
And if you have any specific requests (accommodation on the ground floor, near the swimming pool, room with bath or sea view, late arrival, turtle accepted, etc.), let us know what you want when you make your reservation. We will check with your accommodation provider to ensure that all your requests have been taken into account.
No unpleasant surprises: no administration fees or hidden charges (e.g. surcharges for credit card payments) on Familytrip. Only VACAF holidays are subject to booking fees, which are announced at the outset. Call us at no extra cost and take the time to explain your requirements and... tell us about your holiday!

In partnership with Crédit Mutuel and CIC, Familytrip has been awarded the SSL certificate, ensuring that the procedure complies with the latest standards in force.
