The VVF Haute Loire Saint-Julien-Chapteuil, set in lush green surroundings, welcomes you for a rejuvenating holiday in the heart of unspoilt nature.

Discover the site

The VVF Saint-Julien-Chapteuil is a 3-star apartement complex with 40 triplex flats. It is located in the Velay mountains. These holiday rentals are fully equipped and functional, all renovated in 2014 for your comfort. All have a kitchenette, terrace and television. The large 8- and 10-person flats are perfect for large family holidays!

The village has a range of facilities to provide entertainment and leisure activities for all the family: volleyball court, football, badminton, pétanque, tennis court, children's playground, table football, library... not forgetting the outdoor swimming pool with children's pool.

On-site activities are organised for everyone to enjoy. The children's club for 6- to 17-year-olds is open during the summer holidays and offers a wide range of activities. During the mini discos, everyone gets their groove on! The adults are not left out: barbecues, karaoke and tournaments are organised to share a convivial moment in good spirits.

If you're here in August, you'll have the chance to enjoy the Festival de la Chaise-Dieu, while September visitors can attend the Renaissance Fêtes du Roi de l'Oiseau.
You can try your hand at white-water sports, paddleboarding on the Lavalette dam 25 km away, or river fishing: a variety of water sports to suit all tastes.

You can also hire bikes and go for a ride or do a beginner's trail in the village of Saint-Julien-Chapteuil. There is also a synthetic ice rink 8km away.

The restaurant

The village does not have a restaurant, but offers takeaway breakfasts with fruit juice, jam, butter, fresh bread or wholemeal bread or cereals.

Discover the region and family activities

There are plenty of sporting activities available in the area! In particular, there's a hiking trail along the route of Santiago de Compostela, as well as horse-riding, climbing, via ferrata, etc. Explore the free-roaming volcanoes of the Haute-Loire and Mézenc-Gerbier and discover the wonders of the sky at the village of Betz, the only astronomy observation centre in the Haute-Loire.

To discover the region's heritage, we recommend a number of visits: Le Puy-en-Velay and its magnificent monuments, a small town not to be missed. There's also the chaumière de Bigorre, an eco-museum at Saint-Front, the Jules Romains museum, and Le Monastier-sur-Gazeille: a small town at the gateway to the Monts d'Ardèche Regional Nature Park.

    - Cancellation less than 60 days before the start of the holiday: 100% of the price of the holiday.

    For customers receiving VACAF aid, in the event of cancellation, VACAF will withdraw its aid and the above cancellation penalties will apply to the full amount of the stay.
