To make your stay as enjoyable as possible, you'll have access to the tropical swimming pool in the resort's leisure and relaxation complex. Located just 800 m from your village club, you'll find 2 pools, 1 slide, water jets, waterfalls... Perfect for having fun after a day in the mountains! For wellness lovers, head to the 200 m² relaxation area in the village club! Sauna, hammam, whirlpool baths, relaxation room and herbal tea room await you. Massages are also available at an additional cost. If you're more the skating type, you can have fun at the resort's ice rink, which is also open to all. And if you're feeling sporty, there's a gym with a range of equipment.

The Orcières village club offers superb entertainment throughout your stay. Children and teenagers will enjoy the clubs, divided up according to their age. Supervised by qualified activity leaders, the very young will be treated to storytelling and outdoor games, the mediums to manual activities and Olympics, and the teenagers to skiing, mountain biking and evening parties...

Don't worry, adults, you too will be invited to join in the fun! In the evening, aperitif games, festive evenings, cabarets, shows... During the day, excursions to discover the region, hikes with a guide, mountain bike outings, sports activities... Adults and families alike!

The restaurant

At Orcières, you don't have to worry about anything except enjoying your holiday... Thanks to your full-board package, there's no cooking to do. The good life! From breakfast to dinner, you'll enjoy a variety of hot and cold meals in the form of an all-you-can-eat buffet. For your excursions, picnic baskets are available, booking the day before. Theme dinners, mountain meals and Christmas and New Year meals are also available. And if you fancy a drink after a day out, you'll be warmly welcomed in the village club bar.

Orcières 1850 is a popular ski resort that attracts families all year round. In winter, winter sports enthusiasts can enjoy downhill skiing, snowboarding, snowshoeing and other winter activities. The resort has a vast ski area, with slopes to suit all levels, from beginner to expert. The nearby ski lifts give skiers easy access to the summits for panoramic descents. During the summer season, the region offers a range of outdoor activities. These include hiking, with trails offering spectacular views of the surrounding mountains. Mountain bikers can also explore specially prepared trails. Around 1 hour's drive from Orcières 1850 is the Lac de Serre-Ponçon, one of Europe's largest man-made lakes. It offers water sports, swimming and waterside relaxation. The region is also close to the Parc National des Écrins, a protected natural park with exceptional flora and fauna. Hikers can explore the park's trails and enjoy the natural beauty of the mountains.

    "Nous avons passé des vacances exceptionnelles au Village Club d'Orcière-Merlette avec nos deux ados pendant la semaine de Noël. Depuis le dernier étage, nous avions une vue magnifique et d'un ensoleillement généreux. Les salles de bain venaient d'être rénovées, offrant ainsi un confort appréciable. Le réveillon du 24 était génial avec l'arrivée du Père Noël et tout, c'était magique ! Les huîtres à l'apéro étaient top, et le repas de Noël délicieux. Les balades proposées étaient bien adaptées à tous les niveaux, et la gestion des clubs enfants était nickel. L'équipe était vraiment à l'écoute et accueillante sur tous les points !"

    Positive points:

    "le club a un côté un peu ancien, mais il est quand même sympa. Les chambres sont bien arrangées. La nourriture est simple mais correcte. Tout le personnel est aux petits soins. Un grand merci à Geoffrey pour son sourire constant et sa bonne humeur. L'espace bien-être est vraiment plaisant, avec sauna, hammam et jacuzzi."

    Areas for improvement :

    "Petit-déjeuner un peu léger, pas trop de choix et salle de restaurant assez bruyante quand il y a beaucoup de monde."
