Mûr-de-Bretagne is a village in the heart of Brittany, on the border between the Côtes d'Armor and Morbihan departments. Just 50 km south of Saint-Brieuc, on the shores of Lac de Guerlédan, you'll discover the Breton countryside, less famous but just as charming as its coastline.

Discover the area

You'll be staying at the Mûr-de-Bretagne village club in a bucolic setting, in a wooded park by the lake. On site, you'll find a car park, a lovely indoor swimming pool, children's play areas, a sports field, a petanque area and a restaurant.

You can stay in a room or a villa. Choose a room for a hotel-style holiday or a villa for more space. The rooms are in a two-storey building and the villas are scattered around the grounds.

The indoor outdoor swimming pool is perfect for a dip whatever the weather. There's also a wellness area with a whirlpool bath, sauna, hammam and sensory shower.

Children will have no time to get bored at Mûr-de-Bretagne, as the club offers activities supervised by activity leaders, with children and teenagers divided into age groups to take part in the most suitable activities for them. There are also themed activities for adults during the day and evening.

The restaurant

Meals are included in the price of your stay, with a choice of half-board or full-board. You can enjoy your meals in the village club restaurant, either indoors or on the terrace with its panoramic view over the lake. Meals are served buffet style to suit everyone.

Discover the region and family activities

From the village club you have direct access to the beach at Landroanec, on Lac de Guerlédan, a great place for swimming and canoeing.

Explore the area around Mur-de-Bretagne by bike or on foot. There are many signposted footpaths in the area, suitable for all abilities. We also recommend a visit to the hydroelectric dam that creates Lac de Guerlédan.

    Positive points:

    "ICadre verdoyant avec vue sur le lac, accueil au top, repas excellents et diversifiés, gros plus avec l'espace bien être accessible gratuitement, gros plus aussi avec le prêt gratuit de matériel : vous avons pu faire du kawak sur le lac c'était top."

    "Le bébé club n'a pas pris les enfants tous les jours j'ai perdu la moitié de mon séjour à ne rien faire d'autre que m'occuper d'eux alors que j'ai payé pour ça. En plus elle a perdu les vêtements de rechange et m'a rendu mon bébé affamé avec de la crotte jusqu'au cou"

Accès

  • Car  - From Rennes: RN 164 towards Quimper/Brest then follow signs for Rostrenen. Before entering Loudéac, follow Rostrenen/St Caradec then Mûr-de-Bretagne. Drive around the centre of Mûr-de-Bretagne on the RN 64 as far as the Brest/Guingamp/Mûr crossroads, then turn left. Opposite the Ste-Suzanne chapel, turn right. Follow the signs for Miléade. From Pontivy: drive through the town as far as the Ste-Suzanne chapel, then turn left and follow the Miléade signs. From Pontivy: drive up the village as far as the Ste-Suzanne chapel then turn left and follow the Miléade signs.

  • Train - Saint-Brieuc station (45 km)
    Then transfer to Loudéac and SNCF coach to Mûr-de-Bretagne or taxi. Taxis to Loudéac or St-Brieuc/Miléade SNCF stations can be booked on request at reception (extra charge). Maximum 3 people/journey. To be booked in advance.

  • Familytrip takes a deposit at the time of booking. The balance is due no later than 60 days before the start of the holiday. In order to pay the balance, clients must log into their personal space no later than 60 days before the start of their stay.

  • The balance of the booking is due no later than 60 days before the start of the holiday. The customer will receive a reminder to pay the balance of the booking by e-mail 65 days before the start of the holiday.

    Cancellation penalties are calculated on the basis of the following scale:
    - Cancellation 60 days or more before the start of the holiday: deposit retained
    - Cancellation less than 60 days before the start of the holiday: 100% of the price of the holiday.

    Familytrip recommends that you take out cancellation insurance with its partner AREAS Assurances. Subscribe at the time of booking or within 24 hours of booking by telephone.

    For customers receiving VACAF aid, in the event of cancellation, VACAF will withdraw its aid and the above cancellation penalties will apply to the full amount of the holiday.
