The campsite offers a range of services and facilities, including a snack bar/bar, a bike hire service, a lovely picnic area, a car park, a wi-fi zone and an equipment lending service if you're staying with a baby.

Put down your suitcases and breathe in the fresh air! You'll be staying in a fully-equipped, comfortable chalet or villa gîte. Sleeping up to 8 people, they are perfect for large families.

The major advantage of the campsite is that it is located on the edge of a leisure centre open from April to September, access to which is included in the price of your stay! There are plenty of water-based activities on site (canoeing, kayaking, water-skiing, etc.) and there's even a waterslide - a real treat for the kids! You can also enjoy a family swim, supervised in July and August.

Other activities include a beach volleyball court, a football pitch, ping pong tables, mini-golf, a playground, table football and other surprises...

The restaurant

For a bite to eat, you and the whole family can head to the friendly snack bar! With its terrace overlooking the lake, it's the perfect place to enjoy a sandwich or chips with your children! After a good swim, you can even enjoy a refreshing ice cream!

Montcontour is a small commune in the Vienne département, in the Nouvelle-Aquitaine region, in central-western France. Although Montcontour is less well known than some other French tourist destinations, it has an interesting rural and historic charm. The village boasts a number of historic buildings and natural landscapes typical of the Vienne countryside. The traditional houses and narrow streets add to the charm of the place. The area is known for its bucolic landscapes, fields and forests, ideal for quiet walks and hikes.

If you'd like to explore the region, you can visit the town of Chauvigny, about 30 kilometres from Montcontour, famous for its five medieval châteaux and well-preserved historic centre. Poitiers, also about 50 kilometres away, is the capital of the Vienne and offers a rich history, ancient monuments such as the church of Notre-Dame-la-Grande and the Palais des Ducs d'Aquitaine, as well as the Futuroscope, a technological and scientific theme park.
