You are staying 8 km from the centre of Les Sables d'Olonne, a seaside resort on the Vendée coast, around 100 km south of Nantes. The town is world-famous as the starting point for the Vendée Globe solo sailing race. Sauveterre beach can be reached by bike in just 10 minutes via the cycle path adjacent to the apartement complex.

The Grands Rochers apartement complex is less than 3 km from the centre of the village of Olonne-sur-mer, north of Les Sables d'Olonne. On site you'll find a lovely outdoor and indoor swimming pool with waterslides, a sauna and a small gym for keeping fit. The little bonus of this apartement complex: it's entirely pedestrianised, so children can wander around in complete safety and parents can rest assured!

The 200 homes are spread over 5 hectares. There are different types of accommodation for up to 8 people, arranged in Vendée-style semi-detached houses. Children can play and exercise in the large communal outdoor area, where they can meet new friends.

The Sauveterre equestrian centre, just 1km from the apartement complex, offers you the chance to spend some quality time with your family, with activities, courses, rides and hikes to choose from.

    Positive points:

    "Superbe semaine de vacances hors saison. Le personnes à l'accueil donnent plein de bons conseils pour découvrir la région et occuper les enfants. La piscine intérieure est parfaite pour un séjour avec un petit de 2 ans. Bien entendu il ne reste pas deux heures dans l'eau mais c'était génial."
