The VVF Les Cévennes welcomes you to the heart of the National Park, where you'll find plenty of activities for the whole family to enjoy! During your holiday in Florac, you'll discover a rich heritage and delicious local cuisine.

Discover the area

The Florac VVF offers 60 single-storey bungalows set in 5 hectares of wooded parkland. All have a terrace with garden furniture and are fully equipped with a kitchenette. The large flats are perfect for large family holidays for up to 8 people!

The village has a range of facilities to provide entertainment for all the family: volleyball court, football pitch, badminton court, boules court, tennis court, children's play area, bouncy castle, table football, library... not forgetting the outdoor swimming pool with children's pool.

On-site activities are organised. The children's club, open during the summer holidays for children aged 6 to 17, offers a wide range of activities, and with the passing of the mini discos, everyone's shaking a leg on the dance floor! Adults are not left out in the cold: barbecues, karaoke and tournaments are organised to share a convivial moment in good spirits.

Nearby, you can take a donkey ride, canoe down the Tarn gorges, go caving or follow the Stevenson Trail. If you're there during All Saints' Day, don't miss the Festival de la Soupe (Soup Festival) to see the entertainment in the town of Florac.

Not far from there, you can watch wolves in the Parc des loups de Gévaudan! And on a simpler note, why not hire a bike to visit Florac? There's everything you need for a wide range of leisure activities.

The restaurant

The village does not have a restaurant, but does offer takeaway breakfasts with fruit juice, jam, butter, fresh bread or wholemeal bread or cereals.

Discover the region and family activities

There are plenty of places to visit in the surrounding area to discover the region: the Caussenarde farm at Hyelzas with buildings dating from the 17th and 19th centuries, the Musée du Désert (history of Protestantism and the Camisards in the Cévennes) for a bit of history, the weather observatory on Mont Aigoual with an exceptional view stretching from the Alps to the Pyrenees.

A visit to the Cévennes National Park means you can explore a whole host of sites and landscapes, including the Bondon megaliths, where you can admire the menhirs, and the chaos of Nîmes-le-Vieux, where you can enjoy a wonderful hike. You'll find all the most beautiful landscapes that make Lozère such an exceptional region!

    Positive points:

    "Très bonne équipe avec une directrice très professionnelle et arrangeante. Avec des animateurs au top avec les enfants et une très bonne ambiance."

    Areas for improvement :

    "Logement trop ancien et pas assez entretenu. C’est bien dommage car malgré une super équipe le Logement compte beaucoup. Il serait vraiment nécessaire de les rénover."

  • Car  - From Lyon, take the A7 motorway to Alès and take the N106 towards Mende, continue 2 km past Florac, at the roundabout, the holiday village is on the left at the start of the road towards Pont-de-Montvert.
    From the A75, exit 39.1, direction Gorges du Tarn / Florac, the village is on the left 1 km before Florac, direction Pont-de-Montvert.

  • Train - Mende station (40 km) or Alès station (70 km), Marvejols station (60 km).
