Right in the heart of the volcanoes, surrounded by fir trees, the family ski resort of Le Lioran is located in the Cantal department, 120 kilometres south of Clermont-Ferrand. You'll be staying at the foot of the Cantal mountains, the ideal starting point for discovering a magnificent region in both summer and winter, where all the pleasures of the mountains come together.

The Village Club Le Grand Lioran is situated at an altitude of 1250 m, just 2 km from the slopes. The establishment is divided into 2 sites: Font de Cère and Haut du Roy, 400m apart.

At the Haut du Roy site, you can stay on a half-board or full-board basis in one of the 65 rooms in a multi-storey building (with lift), each room accommodating 2 to 6 people. The swimming pool, hammam, sauna and fitness room are located on the Haut du Roy site. La bulle, a place dedicated to teenagers, is at Font de Cère, just a few metres from your accommodation.

Children will find plenty to keep them entertained after skiing with a game of billiards, a reading corner or the bubble, the area dedicated to teenagers where they can listen to music or play games. It's also a lively village club with children's clubs run by qualified activity leaders.

Activities are also organised for adults and families. From snowshoe outings to discover the region, activities within the apartement complex, or themed evenings, there's something for everyone.

The restaurant

Half-board or full-board, depending on your choice, you'll have your meals on site with your family, in the holiday village restaurant. The bar/snack bar is the perfect place to satisfy small hungers and big thirsts!

Discover the many hiking trails, following in the footsteps of marmots, mouflons and chamois. And don't forget to try your hand at dog sledding - you'll feel like a real trapper! You can also try downhill mountain biking, paragliding, climbing and canyoning.

  • Familytrip takes a deposit at the time of booking. The balance is due no later than 60 days before the start of the holiday. In order to pay the balance, clients must log into their personal space no later than 60 days before the start of their stay.

  • The balance of the booking is due no later than 60 days before the start of the holiday. The customer will receive a reminder to pay the balance of the booking by e-mail 65 days before the start of the holiday.

    Cancellation penalties are calculated on the basis of the following scale:
    - Cancellation 60 days or more before the start of the holiday: deposit retained
    - Cancellation less than 60 days before the start of the holiday: 100% of the price of the holiday.

    For customers receiving VACAF aid, in the event of cancellation, VACAF will withdraw its aid and the above cancellation penalties will apply to the full amount of the stay.
