The Lac de Serre Ponçon holiday village is located in Chorges, in the Hautes-Alpes. Just 20 km from Gap, the village boasts a highly sought-after location between Lake Serre-Ponçon, just 200 m away, and the Ecrins National Park. You'll enjoy breathtaking panoramic views of the mountain peaks.

On the heights of Chorges, the village club overlooks Lake Serre-Ponçon. It has an outdoor swimming pool, restaurant, sports fields, library and children's play area.

The holiday village has around a hundred accommodation units. The flats, which can accommodate families of up to 5 people, are spread over 4 buildings. You'll find everything you need to feel at home!

In summer, you can take advantage of the outdoor swimming pool, which has a lap pool, a paddling pool for the little ones and a solarium with sun loungers where you can top up your tan. You'll also have access to the sauna for a relaxing break.

The children's club offers half-day and full-day activities to introduce children to fun, sports and relaxation sessions suited to younger children. And let's not forget the adults, who will also have the right to their own activities. On the programme: a great family sports game, guided walks, regional sharing... The programme is tailored to the season and weather conditions.

Numerous facilities are available at the heart of the holiday village: sports ground, playground, library, games library. You'll always find something to do where you're staying!

A restaurant is available for breakfast, lunch and dinner. From the dining room, you'll enjoy a breathtaking view of Lake Serre-Ponçon.

As well as swimming, there are plenty of water-based activities on offer on Lac de Serre-Ponçon, including canoeing, pedalos, water skiing and towed buoys. In the surrounding area you'll also find great spots for outdoor activities such as hiking, via ferrata and canyoning. There's something for all tastes and all ages.

    Positive points:

    "Vue sur le lac Logement spacieux Château gonflable"

    Areas for improvement :

    "Vis à vis avec la terrasse voisine Personne de la réception incapable de nous renseigner sur la région (feu d'artifice, randonnées,marchés...) Baby-foot HS et non indiqué (du coup on met des pièces pour rien)"

    "Le cadre, la gentillesse et le dévouement du personnel en sous effectif, la piscine adulte."

    Areas for improvement :

    "Le lit clic clac adulte catastrophique sur lequel on dort très mal (bruyant, rebondissant sur ressort et en forme de cuvette), équipements enfants dégonflés le soir, bar fermé à 22h au meilleur moment de fraîcheur de la journée (le jour tombe à 21h30 en été), piscine enfant hors service, pas d'animateur pour les 7 / 10 ans, communication des activités aléatoire, concert anachronique au regard de la moyenne d'âge réduite des résidents, nombre de places possibles pour les randonnées (activité essentielle en montagne) nettement insuffisant."

  • Car  - Take the RN 94 17 km from Gap. At the roundabout in Chorges, continue for 4 km towards Briançon, then turn right into Baie Saint-Michel (enter the village via the car parks). The nearest town is Gap, 20 km away.

  • Train - TGV: to Grenoble, Valence or Aix-en-Provence, then transfer to Briançon.
    Chorges (4 km) and Gap (20 km) stations, then taxi.

  • Plane - Marseille-Provence airport (190 km).

  • The balance of the booking is due no later than 60 days before the start of the holiday. The customer will receive a reminder to pay the balance of the booking by e-mail 65 days before the start of the holiday.

    Cancellation penalties are calculated on the basis of the following scale:
    - Cancellation 60 days or more before the start of the holiday: deposit retained
    - Cancellation less than 60 days before the start of the holiday: 100% of the price of the holiday.

    Familytrip recommends that you take out cancellation insurance with its partner AREAS Assurances. Subscribe at the time of booking or within 24 hours of booking by telephone.

    For customers receiving VACAF aid, in the event of cancellation, VACAF will withdraw its aid and the above cancellation penalties will apply to the full amount of the stay.
