At La Lauza, enjoy a snow-front location with a panoramic view of the snow-capped mountains. You'll love the warm atmosphere of Valmeinier Village for a holiday in the great outdoors! You're around 70 km from the famous Parc de la Vanoise and 40 minutes from Saint-Jean-de-Maurienne and Modane.

Discover the area

The village club is located in the historic village of Valmeinier 1500 at the foot of the ski slopes. You will stay in half-board or full-board accommodation with typical Savoyard architecture. The layout of the accommodation may vary depending on the number of people staying. However, you will find a lounge with television in all the accommodation.

Your children will be welcome in the clubs from the age of 3 and up to the age of 10 during the winter season. The activities on offer will vary according to the age of the children and will be supervised by qualified activity leaders. The programme includes creative activities, snow games, arts and crafts and board games. Your children can also be accompanied to the ski school for beginner lessons.

After a busy day on the slopes, you can relax in the wellness area. There's a swimming spa for children aged 6 and over, where you can swim and relax on the coldest days.

There's also a games and leisure room with table tennis, table football and billiards. You can borrow board games from reception for family evenings out. The team has an entertainment programme with festive evenings including bingo, karaoke and even dance evenings.

The restaurant

The village club has a restaurant with a terrace at the foot of the slopes. You can share breakfasts, lunches and dinners with the whole family, thanks to our boarding options. Meals are buffet-style, with a variety of dishes served every day. You can also book picnic baskets as part of the full-board package. In addition to the restaurant, you'll find the village-club bar serving hot and cold drinks, with or without alcohol.

During the winter season, you can enjoy mountain activities in a snow-covered setting. Valmeinier is the ideal place for skiing and snowboarding, with plenty of pistes to suit all levels. You can also explore the snowy paths with snowshoes on your feet, enjoying the beauty of the winter landscape.

How can you travel to Savoie without sampling the famous Savoyard fondue or traditional raclette? There are a number of restaurants and cafés in the resort where you can enjoy the delights of this region.

  • Car  - Take the A43 motorway, exit at Saint-Michel-de-Maurienne, then follow the D902 for 14 km. Please note that the Col du Galibier is closed in winter.

  • Train - Saint-Michel de Maurienne TGV station 14 km away

    For customers receiving VACAF aid, in the event of cancellation, VACAF will withdraw its aid and the above cancellation penalties will apply to the full amount of the stay.
