L'Hippocampe - Les Chalets de la mer        

Your holiday on the Côte Bleue, between Marseille and the Camargue, is off to a great start. The Parc Résidentiel l'Hippocampe covers a 3-hectare site that is entirely pedestrianised. If you don't have a car, there's no problem - access is easy by train, the beach is 350 m away and the shops are just 300 m away.

For your convenience, you'll find a restaurant/bar/snack bar, a convenience store, a lovely outdoor swimming pool with paddling pool, activities and entertainment for all ages, a car park, Wi-Fi access and a launderette (extra charge).

The comfortable, air-conditioned wooden chalets are pleasantly situated in the shade of the pine trees. They feature a fully-equipped kitchen and terrace. If you're taking a baby on holiday, don't hesitate to ask for the baby pack, which includes a cot and high chair.

For a refreshing dip in the pool! There's an outdoor pool with a paddling pool for the little ones. Deckchairs and parasols are also available for your naps.

After a pool session, your children can play in the play areas and sports fields in complete safety. A petanque area and table tennis tables are also available.

Last but not least, the entertainment team has put together some superb activities for all the family. During the day, children aged 5 to 12 can take part in the club with group activities, crafts, workshops and shows! For all the family, there are discovery walks and festive evenings (cabarets, theatre, dances, etc.).

The restaurant

Forget about cooking for one or more meals during your stay! Head to the restaurant/bar/snack bar for a delicious meal, ice cream or cocktail. And if you need a little extra shopping, there's also a grocery shop.

Martigues is a town in south-east France. It is also known as La Venise provençale (Provençal Venice) because of the canals that run through the town. Discover this region of wild and varied landscapes: creeks, fishing ports, canals, pink limestone walls... Martigues has a rich architectural heritage, with historic buildings such as the church of Sainte-Madeleine, the chapel of Notre-Dame-des-Marins and the San Sébastien bridge. The architecture reflects the traditional Provençal influence. The area around Martigues offers plenty of opportunities for outdoor activities, whether on the beaches of the Mediterranean or in the surrounding nature parks. The nearby Etang de Berre also offers options for water sports. The region is also known for its local crafts, including pottery. When it comes to gastronomy, you can sample Mediterranean and Provençal dishes in local restaurants.
