Nestling at an altitude of 1800 metres, the Amara apartement complex is located at the very entrance to the Avoriaz resort. You'll be staying in the heart of a pedestrian resort where sleighs replace cars. The apartement complex is located at the foot of the ski slopes, ideal for holidays with children!

Discover the area

The apartement complex's flats are fully equipped for families: fully-equipped kitchen with hob, microwave, dishwasher, coffee maker, kettle, TV, Wi-Fi, hi-fi. Bed linen, towels and end-of-stay cleaning (excluding kitchen) are included.

A loan service is available to make your life easier. Irons, ironing boards, hairdryers, comic books, board games, pocket books and Playholiday resort laptops are all available.

Most of the mountain activities are concentrated in the heart of the resort, but you can also take advantage of the apartement complex's swimming pool. There's a heated indoor pool and a sun terrace with sun loungers and parasols.

There's also a wellness area with a fitness room, hammam and sauna for fitness sessions.

The restaurant

There is a bread and pastries service available in the apartement complex. However, if you're looking for a full meal, you can lunch or dine in one of the resort's 8 restaurants.

Discover the region and family activities

Avoriaz is a versatile destination offering a wide range of activities for mountain lovers, both in winter and summer. In winter, take to the slopes and enjoy one of the world's largest ski areas, the Portes du Soleil. You'll be able to indulge in winter sports such as skiing and snowboarding. You'll also find ice skating facilities in the centre of the resort. Relax in the resort's pools and spas to recharge your batteries after a long day on the slopes.

In summer, explore the beautiful mountainous region of Avoriaz, which offers magnificent hiking, mountain biking and horse riding trails. The resort has a 9-hole gold course with panoramic mountain views. Take part in local festivals and events during your stay, as there are plenty of activities on the programme. Don't forget to visit the resort's shops to buy your souvenirs.

    "L'appartement très spacieux et confortable. La garderie propose des activités très variées et les encadrantes sont très sympathiques et professionnelles."

    Areas for improvement :

    "La station d'Avoriaz est vraiment moche mais il est possible de descendre rapidement sur Morzine qui est nettement plus belle. Néanmoins, la station propose de nombreuses activités quel que soit la météo."

    In the event of cancellation less than 31 days before arrival, 100% of the total amount of the stay will be retained.

    Stay can be cancelled free of charge up to 15 days before arrival.
    In the event of cancellation less than 15 days before arrival, 100% of the total amount of the stay is retained.

    Stay can be cancelled free of charge up to 8 days before arrival.
