Valloire is a charming family ski resort located 1h30 from Grenoble in the heart of the Maurienne Valley.
The Le Hameau de Valloire apartement complex is located 1.5 km from the village centre and shops, at the foot of the Col du Galibier pass. The apartement complex is easily reached from the main road, and a forestry path takes 15-20 minutes to walk to the village centre. The ski lifts are 1.2 km from the apartement complex. A municipal shuttle bus is available for a small fee.
During your stay, you can ski in the Galibier-Thabor ski area, which is linked to Valmeinier. In figures, it's 150 km of pistes with a vertical drop of 1170 m, as well as 30 ski lifts, with over 70% of the area above 2000 m altitude. And there's plenty of fun to be had, including boarder cross, animal safari, DVA park, Big Air Bag and the new Snow Bolide!

  • Car  - Motorway from Lyon, Chambéry to Saint Michel de Maurienne (A43 towards the Fréjus tunnel). At Saint-Michel de Maurienne, follow signs for Valloire / Valmeinier. Go over the Col du Télégraphe. 2 km before arriving in Valloire, just after the "Hameau des Chozeaux villes" sign, take the 1st right towards "Le Hameau de Valloire". Go straight downhill, the reception is 500 metres further on.

  • Train - St-Michel - Valloire train station 17 km away.

  • Plane - Chambéry - Aix les Bains (120 km), Geneva (200 km), Lyon - Saint Exupéry (190 km) airports.

  • Familytrip takes a deposit at the time of booking. The balance is due no later than 30 days before the start of the holiday. In order to pay the balance, clients must log into their personal space no later than 30 days before the start of their stay.

  • The balance of the booking is due no later than 30 days before the start of the holiday. The customer will receive a reminder to pay the balance of the booking by e-mail 35 days before the start of the holiday.

    Cancellation penalties are calculated on the basis of the following scale:
    - Cancellation 31 days or more before the start of the holiday: cancellation free of charge
    - Cancellation between 30 and 21 days before the start of the holiday: 25% of the cost of the holiday will be retained.
    - Cancellation between 20 and 14 days before the start of the holiday: 50% of the cost of the holiday will be retained.
    - Cancellation between 13 and 8 days before the start of the holiday: 75% of the total cost of the holiday will be retained.
    - Cancellation less than 7 days before the start of the holiday or no-show: 100% of the cost of the holiday will be retained.

    Familytrip recommends that you take out cancellation insurance with its partner AREAS Assurances. Subscribe at the time of booking or within 24 hours of booking by telephone.
