The La Chapelle-des-Bois village club is located in the north of the Haut-Jura Regional Nature Park, in the heart of Europe's largest Nordic ski area. It's just 1h45 from Besançon and 1h20 from Geneva by car. Shops are just 800 metres from the accommodation.

Just a stone's throw from the cross-country ski slopes and with direct access to the snowshoe hiking trails, the village club boasts a privileged and exceptional environment.

You'll be staying in pleasant, spacious rooms on a half-board or full-board basis. You'll find all the bedding you need for a comfortable stay. Travelling with a baby? Don't worry, you can borrow the pack that includes: cot, bath, bottle warmer, booster seat and deckchair.

In summer and winter alike, the Village Club offers family activities to suit everyone. All year round, you'll find lively evenings with shows, karaoke, dancing and other activities. In winter, you can enjoy seasonal activities such as snowshoeing and cross-country skiing. In summer, you can go on walks organised by the entertainment team.

Children are welcome in the on-site club from 3 months to 17 years of age. Many social events and activities are also organised in the village club, so you can make the most of your family holiday!

The restaurant

For half-board or full-board, enjoy a restaurant with a panoramic view and a fireplace. The buffet offers a variety of dishes and regional specialities to delight your taste buds. The restaurant also offers themed dinners, including a gala dinner. The restaurant is child-friendly, even for toddlers, with baby food to be requested in advance.

Discover the region and family activities

Explore the charming city of Besançon, with its UNESCO World Heritage citadel, cobbled streets, museums and historic atmosphere. Discover the region by taking advantage of the many hiking trails in the Haut-Jura regional nature park. Relax on the shores of Lac de Saint-Point, the third largest natural lake in France, where you can enjoy water sports, fishing or simply stroll along the banks.

During the winter season, introduce your family to seasonal activities such as skiing, snowboarding or tobogganing for the younger ones. Let yourself be seduced by the landscapes of the region during sleigh rides and meet the polar dogs and their pack.

  • Car  - From Paris :
    Take the A6, the A36 and the A39, exit 7, then the RN5. Enter Les Marias then follow the Route de la Haute-Combe (D18 A). Follow the D46 to Chapelle-des-Bois.

    From Lyon :
    Take the A40 to the Oyonnax exit, then head for St-Claude on the D436. Then follow the D936 and take the N5 towards Les Rousses and Morez. Follow the D46 as far as Chapelle-des-Bois.

  • Train - Frasne TGV station 60km away.
    Morez SNCF station 15km away, then transfer to Taxis Grand Val.

  • Familytrip takes a deposit at the time of booking. The balance is due no later than 60 days before the start of the holiday. In order to pay the balance, clients must log into their personal space no later than 60 days before the start of their stay.

    Cancellation penalties are calculated on the basis of the following scale:
    - Cancellation 60 days or more before the start of the holiday: deposit retained
    - Cancellation less than 60 days before the start of the holiday: 100% of the price of the holiday.

    For customers receiving VACAF aid, in the event of cancellation, VACAF will withdraw its aid and the above cancellation penalties will apply to the full amount of the stay.
