Center Parcs Le Bois aux Daims is nestled in the heart of a 260-hectare forest full of animals. At its heart is a 35-hectare nature reserve, untouched by human occupation. Children will love walking among the deer and raccoons.

This is a 100% pedestrian estate, and you'll be staying in modern, spacious, comfortable and fully-equipped cottages. Large picture windows give you a pleasant view of the surrounding countryside and the various bodies of water. The cottages sleep between 4 and 8 people, making them ideal for families looking for a large family holiday rental.

Let's start with the star of Center Parcs: Aqua Mundo! Designed to appeal to the whole family, you'll find yourself in the tropics, in an atmosphere and water heated all year round. At Aqua Mundo, you'll find whirlpool baths, waterfalls, a wild river, water trees for children and a paddling pool for babies. You can even swim amongst the fish in the cenote pool. Finally, the older children can have fun on the 4 water slides in the water park. Aqua Mundo also offers a wide range of activities, including baby swimming sessions, swimming lessons and aquabike lessons (extra charge).

Center Parcs Le Bois aux Daims offers over 60 activities for young and old alike. Children will marvel at the animals in the mini-farm, have fun on the playgrounds, and can even take part in the "Quand j'serai grand" workshops. These are workshops on a variety of themes, supervised by activity leaders.

For moments of intense relaxation, adults can head to the "Deep Nature Spa" relaxation area, with its multitude of à la carte treatments and the traditional sauna and hammam.

The restaurant

Center Parcs Le Bois aux Daims has a variety of restaurants, including a traditional restaurant, pizzeria, crêperie, fast food restaurant and brasserie, as well as several bars, including one at the bowling alley, where there is plenty of entertainment on offer during the day and evening. A meal delivery service is also available.

Discover the region and family activities

Less than an hour's drive away is the famous Futuroscope park, with its many original attractions that will appeal to children and parents alike. For history buffs, Frontevraud Abbey is a must-see on a family holiday in the Vienne. It's just 15 minutes from the estate.

If you're more of a nature lover, discover the Vallée des Singes wildlife park, where you can get up close to gorillas and chimpanzees, and for reptile fans, the Vallée des Crocodiles is just a stone's throw away. The BioParc Zoo will introduce you to several hundred species in an original setting, a former stone quarry.

"Le dépaysement! Séjour en pleine nature,entourés de Daims,quel bonheur! La piscine! Meilleur complexe aquatique que l'on ait fait."

Areas for improvement :

"Le "village" Center Parcs est très excentré,vraiment loin de Tout! 20min minimum pour trouver un restaurant correct. Et pas grand chose à faire Dans le coin, si l'on veut un peu découvrir la région."

Accès

Car - From Paris: Take the A10 towards Bordeaux, exit 25 Saumur/Chinon. Follow Saumur on the D760/D749/D751 then follow signs for Loudun on the D759. In Loudun take the D61B/D347 towards Les Trois Moutiers. On leaving this village, follow the Center Parcs signs on the D49. From Nantes/Angers on the A11, take the A85 towards Tours/Vierzon, exit N°3 Saumur. Follow the D347 towards Montreuil Bellay/Loudun. When you get to Les Trois Moutiers, follow the Center Parcs signs on the D49. From Bordeaux take the A10 motorway, exit 29 Poitiers Nord, then follow the N147 towards Saumur. Cancellation penalties are calculated on the basis of the following scale:

- Cancellation between 41 and 21 days before the start of the holiday: 30% of the price of the holiday retained, with a minimum of €150 per accommodation.
- Cancellation between 20 and 8 days before the start of the stay: 60% of the price of the stay retained per accommodation
