Enjoy a holiday in the heart of nature on the borders of the Auvergne and Limousin regions. Nestling on the slopes of a hill, the Cantal Salers holiday village is ideal for your family holiday. You'll be staying 1h40 south-west of Clermont Ferrand, with shops and health services just 8km away.

The village's accommodation is divided between several wooden chalets and two-storey stone houses. You'll find all the services and facilities you need for your stay: outdoor parking, a restaurant and a swimming pool.

Take advantage of access to the heated outdoor swimming pool for relaxing moments in the water, and your children can enjoy the paddling pool area. There are deckchairs by the pool for sunbathing. There are also several sports pitches where the whole family can play group games.

Your little ones and teenagers will be welcomed in a club from the age of 3 months to 14 years, with a variety of age-appropriate activities. On the programme: sports activities, big games, preparation for shows, parties and lots of other stimulating and fun activities. The youngest will take part in early-learning games, quiet times and even moments of well-being.

Nomadic walking, cycling and mountain-biking maps are available from reception to help you discover the various trails available for excursions. There's also a pétanque court where you can play tournaments with family and friends. Your children can meet up with their new friends from the club in the outdoor play area or on the bouncy castle.

The restaurant

The holiday village has a restaurant offering take-away meals directly in your accommodation. Get together with family or friends at the holiday village bar to enjoy hot and cold drinks, with or without alcohol.

Put on your hiking boots and enjoy the many trails that criss-cross the region, offering spectacular views of the mountains and surrounding countryside. Explore the Cantal's magnificent mountain landscapes, lush green valleys and picturesque lakes. The Parc naturel régional des Volcans d'Auvergne is a must-see during your stay.

Depending on the season, you can enjoy activities such as skiing in winter, mountain biking, fishing, canoeing and kayaking, to name but a few. The Cantal also has spa resorts where you can relax and enjoy the benefits of the thermal waters.

    "bonne isolation et propreté du logement salle de bain , wc et cuisine , mise a part les guepes sont nombreuses et toiles araignees sinon meubles assez joli et coin paisible et confortable"

    Areas for improvement :

    "animations du soir peu attractives pour nous et tout fini à 22h car nous avons un centre interet different par exemple: loto, karaoke, cine projection film culte aurait été plus interessant coin joli et paisible et confort materiel je le rappel, la bibliotheque tout est melangée sinon catamaran, rando , pedalo possible à 30 MIN du coin , manque prospectus sur les sorties sportives"

    Cancellation penalties are calculated on the basis of the following scale:
    - Cancellation 60 days or more before the start of the holiday: deposit retained
    - Cancellation less than 60 days before the start of the holiday: 100% of the price of the holiday.

    For customers receiving VACAF aid, in the event of cancellation, VACAF will withdraw its aid and the above cancellation penalties will apply to the full amount of the stay.
