Leisure activities are available on site and the water jets add a touch of freshness and entertainment. The nearby beach is easily accessible by car. Children can also enjoy the activities on offer in July and August thanks to the children's and teenagers' club. Last but not least, the bread depot, laundry and outside communal car park (1 space per flat - spaces are limited) will make life easier for you.

The campsite is perfectly integrated into its environment and eco-designed: vegetation, vegetable garden, wooden accommodation, easy cycling and walking routes... Everything is designed to help you recharge your batteries. For your comfort, your mobile home has been tastefully decorated and equipped, and the space is bright thanks to the large windows opening onto a large wooden terrace.

The campsite also offers daily entertainment. The children's and teenagers' clubs offer specially adapted activities, such as creative workshops, outdoor games and sports tournaments, so that parents can relax while their little ones have fun. In the evenings, the campsite regularly organises shows, themed evenings and even open-air cinema sessions, ideal for spending quality time together as a family.

The area around Camping Tamarins Plage is rich in cultural and natural discoveries. Just a few kilometres from the campsite is a charming coastal town with typical markets, craft shops and restaurants where you can sample local produce. The fishing port is a great place to enjoy fresh seafood, while you take in the charming narrow streets.

Outside the campsite, there are also adventure parks for families, including accrobranche attractions, Tyroliennes and nature walks, to delight children and adults alike. Nearby, there are several water parks offering fun-filled days of sliding and water games, perfect for a family outing.

Introductory courses in water sports such as paddle boarding and kayaking are available on the campsite's beach. If you want to learn to surf, qualified instructors offer lessons for all levels, from beginner to advanced. Equipment hire is also available directly on site, whether for sea excursions or simply to spend some time paddling on the water.

  • Car  - Paris / Niort / La Rochelle motorway. After crossing the bridge, turn left at the 1st roundabout, then straight ahead following "Le Bois Plage". In Bois Plage, follow the main road towards La Couarde. The campsite is located of the village on the left-hand side.

  • Train - La Rochelle station - TGV train Paris / La Rochelle. Bus service Les Mouettes La Rochelle / Ile de Ré. Stop La Glacière 300 m from the campsite (Bus 3/3E).

    Cancellation penalties are calculated on the basis of the following scale:
    - Cancellation 60 days or more before the start of the holiday: deposit retained
    - Cancellation less than 60 days before the start of the holiday: 100% of the price of the holiday.

    Familytrip recommends that you take out cancellation insurance with its partner AREAS Assurances. Subscribe at the time of booking or within 24 hours of booking by telephone.

    For customers receiving VACAF aid, in the event of cancellation, VACAF will withdraw its aid and the above cancellation penalties will apply to the full amount of the stay.
