Welcome to the Vendée, 4 km from the centre of Challans and 20 km from the coast, between sea and countryside. The cycle path passing through Sallertaine, the village where you are staying, will enable you to explore the region by bike.

Discover the area

Les P'tites Maisons dans la Prairie campsite is just outside the town of Challans. In a Far West atmosphere, you'll find relaxation and leisure activities for a successful family holiday. With young children, you'll particularly appreciate the mini-farm and horse-riding lessons on offer.

There are around sixty accommodation options on the campsite, and you'll be spoilt for choice: gîtes for maximum space, mobile homes for a holiday atmosphere, motel chalets or tipis to transport you to the Wild West... All you need is your cowboy hat, yeeeha!

As the weather in the Vendée can sometimes be capricious, the swimming pool dome will allow you to enjoy the activities whatever the temperature outside.

The campsite's equestrian centre offers a range of activities, from simple rides to horse-riding lessons. The little ones will be delighted to get up close to the animals on the mini-farm: goats, sheep, ducks, geese, cows, peacocks, ponies, donkeys, etc. There's also miniature golf at the heart of the campsite.

Entertainment is organised for young and old during the day and in the evening. Archery, gold-digging, ventrgliss, poulball... You won't have time to get bored. In the evenings, the entertainment team has some great surprises in store for you at our themed evenings, so don your spurred boots and get into the country spirit!

The restaurant

The bar/restaurant, decorated in the spirit of the American West, offers a wide choice of dishes to eat in or take away. You can enjoy your meals outside on the terrace.

Discover the region and family activities

For a family outing in the great outdoors, consider a canoe trip with "La Route du Sel". Just 5 km away, in the centre of Sallertaine, you can discover the landscapes of the Breton-Vendéen marshes in an original way.

The famous Puy du Fou park, 1 hour 20 minutes away, is a must-see. It's a journey back in time, with marvellous settings and scenes from another era.

    Positive points:

    "Tout était impeccable, nous avons passé un bon moment en famille grâce à la piscine et aux petites animations. Ca nous dérangerait pas de revenir pour les vacances de l'année prochaine"
