Stay at Camping Le Suroit on the west coast of Oléron. This 4-star campsite welcomes you to one of its mobile homes, which can accommodate up to 6 people.

Take advantage of the sunshine to take a dip in the heated indoor swimming pool! Next to it is a bubble bath for total relaxation. With a solarium, paddling pool and gentle or fast slides, there's something for all the family!

There's plenty to do on site. There's a children's play area, a table tennis table, a petanque pitch and a multi-sports pitch (football, handball, basketball, volleyball, badminton, etc.).

What's more, activity leaders are on hand for children aged 4 and over. Get ready for creative workshops, walks or picnics on the beach, sandcastle competitions, pétanque tournaments, karaoke evenings and much more...

The restaurant

A restaurant is open from the end of March to the end of September. You can choose between salads, meat, fish, burgers, pizzas, delicious desserts, and a bread deposit for small snacks.

Discover the region and family activities

Nearby, you can hire windsurf boards and water games, as well as bicycles to take advantage of the vast network of cycle paths surrounding the campsite. On the Sables Vigniers beach, there's a mickey club! Ideal for children, who can even take swimming lessons. In Oléron, there's a wide range of excursions on offer: a trip to the port of La Cotinière, the Domino market, the oyster beds, the Chassiron lighthouse, etc.

Don't hesitate to see the bigger picture! There are plenty of interesting things to do around Oléron. One that should appeal to the whole family is the "Inter-island" cruises, departing from St-Denis d'Oléron for the Ile d'Aix and La Rochelle, with an approach to Fort Boyard. Other ideas: the fortified Citadelle of Brouage, La Corderie Royale and the Hermione shipyard in Rochefort, the Aquarium in La Rochelle, in short, an avalanche of things to see.
