Camping Le Cormoran

A bridge will take you to the Ile de Ré, some ten kilometres from the centre of La Rochelle. The village of Ars en Ré is located almost at the western end of the island and is bordered by a large beach where you can swim at high tide.

Discover the area

Le Cormoran***** campsite is 600 m from the beach and 800 m from the village centre. It has 90 mobile homes and a wide range of facilities: reception, swimming pool, play area, restaurant and car park.

The campsite is set between woods, vineyards and salt marshes, so you'll find all the peace and quiet you could wish for on your holiday.

The campsite's heated outdoor swimming pool is a must for experienced swimmers. Your little ones can also enjoy a safe swim in the paddling pool. The spa pool is the perfect place to relax during a well-deserved break.

The clubs welcome children and teenagers to take part in various activities such as a cookery workshop, creative games, a treasure hunt or a sports tournament.

There are also daytime activities for adults and families, such as aquagym, sports activities and pétanque. Regular events include karaoke, dancing and aperitif games.

The restaurant

Le Cormoran campsite has a snack restaurant. You can enjoy your meals here all day long. On the terrace overlooking the swimming pool, you'll be able to enjoy carefully prepared dishes: mignardises, seafood, etc.

Discover the region and family activities

Take the time to cycle around the Ile de Ré. With 140km of cycle paths, it's the perfect playground for discovering the island's 10 villages at your leisure. There are plenty of water sports on offer, including sailing, paddle-boarding, towed buoys and surfing. If you prefer to stay on dry land, don't miss the whale lighthouse, the Vauban fortifications or the salt marshes.

Head to La Rochelle to visit the old town and its port. The La Rochelle aquarium is a must for lovers of marine life, where you can see over 600 species and 12,000 marine animals.
