The Landes Océanes campsite is located 5 minutes from Lake Léon in the Landes region, between Mimizan, Dax and Capbreton. You'll be staying in the heart of the pine forest, close to the Atlantic Ocean. The beaches of Moliets are less than 15 kilometres away.

Discover the area

Situated in the heart of the pine forest, 1.5km from the village of Saint-Michel-Escalus, the campsite boasts great facilities: a snack-pizzeria, an outdoor swimming pool, a relaxation area, a sand playground, a sports field and a mini-farm.

The campsite is on a human scale, with around 80 accommodation units: chalets and mobile homes set in the heart of the pine forest. The accommodation is suitable for families and can sleep up to 8 people. A parking space is provided next to your accommodation.

The outdoor swimming pool is covered so you can enjoy a family swim whatever the weather. For parents, the relaxation area with hammam and sauna is the perfect place for a zen break.

There's also entertainment for the little ones. Children are grouped by age and take part in activities adapted to their needs: creative workshops, group games, etc.

At the mini-farm: come and meet Mexico and Pépito, the 2 little billy goats.

The region is ideal for water sports: surfing, fishing, kayaking... We also recommend that you go and watch a match of the local sport: Basque pelota, and cheer on the players!

  • Car  - From Bordeaux: Head for Bayonne on the A63, take exit 12 for Dax/Moliets-et-Maa/Vielle-Saint-Girons/Léon, follow signs for Castets, then continue towards Léon (8km). Before you reach Léon, turn right towards Saint Michel Escalus.

    From Bayonne / Biarritz: Head towards Bordeaux on the A63, take exit 11 for Moliets-et-Maa/Léon/Magescq, continue towards Magescq, then Léon (13 km). At Léon, continue towards Castets (3 km), then turn left towards Saint Michel Escalus.
