Camping La Canadienne welcomes you to a friendly atmosphere in Arès, in the heart of the Bay of Arcachon. You'll be staying 1 km from the shops in the town centre, 1.5 km from the Arcachon Basin beach and 7 km from the Atlantic Ocean seafront.

Discover the area

The campsite is set in 2 hectares of oak forest. On site you'll find a range of activities for all the family, as well as a bar, restaurant, bread shop, launderette and barbecue and bike hire service.

La Canadienne offers mobile homes for up to 6 people. All accommodation has two or three bedrooms with a living room, fitted kitchen and bathroom. They are fully equipped (hob, fridge/freezer, coffee maker, toaster, crockery) and have a covered terrace with garden furniture.

For a holiday where young and old alike will find something to enjoy, take a moment to relax in the heated outdoor swimming pool in the shape of a boat. You'll also have access to a host of leisure facilities, including a multi-sports pitch and a playground.

Your little ones can enjoy themselves in complete peace at the children's club (4/12 years). A rich and varied programme with creative workshops, Olympics and treasure hunts.

During the school holidays in the summer period, entertainment is organised during the day and in the evening for convivial moments: themed evenings, bingo, karaoke, dance evenings, mini discos, fairs and concerts.

The restaurant

La Canadienne has a restaurant overlooking the pool with a selection of salads, pasta, fish and meat dishes. You can eat in or take away. If you fancy an ice cream or a hot or cold drink, head to the snack bar.

Discover the region and family activities

Make the most of your stay to explore the town of Arès and the surrounding area: Bird Island, the Banc d'Arguin or climb the Dune du Pyla. The Arcachon basin is a favourite spot for families, so take a stroll or cycle along the seafront from the port to the Moulleau jetty. Stop off at the Cap Ferret lighthouse. Go to the market to sample the local flavours. Explore the fascinating world of birds at the Réserve Ornithologique du Teich.

Follow Av. Marcel Dassault/D213 and D106 towards Rue du Général de Gaulle/D3 in Arès. Take the D3 exit and leave the D106. At the roundabout, take the 3rd exit onto Rue du Général de Gaulle/D3

  • Familytrip takes a deposit at the time of booking. The balance is due no later than 30 days before the start of the holiday. In order to pay the balance, clients must log into their personal space no later than 30 days before the start of their stay.

    - Cancellation less than 30 days before the start of the holiday: 100% of the price of the holiday.
