At l'île d'Offard campsite, you'll find 5 hectares of greenery on the banks of the Loire opposite Saumur castle. Just a 15-minute walk from the town centre and 2km from a river, you're in the perfect place to explore the region and discover the famous châteaux thanks to the 800km cycle route!

Set on an island surrounded by the Loire, you can choose from a range of accommodation to suit your needs. For an unusual stay, you can choose a converted canvas bungalow, or the more traditional mobile homes and cabins.

A range of services are available on site to keep the whole family entertained. Take advantage of the heated outdoor swimming pool with its paddling pool and deckchairs and parasols for sunbathing like a pancake in the sun. For a little more sport, use the volleyball court and outdoor sports area, as well as the children's playground. You can play table tennis and pétanque, hire bikes to explore the area or barbecue for some tasty kebabs! And take advantage of the special book hut to discover all kinds of stories by the pool.

For even more fun, the campsite offers entertainment during the summer school holidays. Your children will have the opportunity to make lots of friends with the children's club organising activities 5 times a week! For the rest of the family, sports competitions, concerts, karaoke and even open-air cinema are organised. And parents looking for a relaxing break from the stresses of everyday life can take advantage of the sauna, hammam and whirlpool baths.

There is a restaurant/snack bar on site, as well as a bread and breakfast delivery service.

Saumur has no shortage of activities. Between the magnificent hiking spots, boat trips, horse rides and horse-drawn carriage rides, there's plenty to do. Why not try your hand at canoeing, kayaking, tree-climbing, golf, bowling or even hot-air ballooning?

There's so much to discover in the magnificent Pays de la Loire region, it's hard to know where to start. Here are a few ideas: Le Puy du Fou, just an hour and 20 minutes away, is a vast theme park where you'll love spending the day - young and old alike will leave with stars in their eyes! There's also Bioparc, a zoo with over 1,900 animals.

The region is best known for its châteaux. Perfect, you've got one just across the road! Not far from here you'll also find the Château de Montsoreau and the Château de Brézé. For a fun tour, discover the Loire wine route, dotted with châteaux, estates and vineyards along the river.
