The campsite has a wide range of facilities: a café-counter, two swimming pools, a playground, a laundry area, a car park, a bread and pastries service and a small grocery shop.

The Saumur Huttopia campsite welcomes you in comfortable rental accommodation, including tents, mobile homes and chalets. All are fully equipped with a kitchenette, bedrooms and a terrace to enjoy the fine weather.

One of the many advantages of this campsite is undeniably the aquatic area. For adults and children alike, there are two swimming pools, one of which is a heated indoor pool with a paddling pool, for you to enjoy at any time of day.

There's also a play area, essential for young children, as well as group sports activities such as table tennis, pétanque, tennis and football. If you prefer to take it more easy, you can ask for board games or go to the library to borrow a book.

During your stay, other activities are organised for children, as well as for the whole family during the day or in the evening. Here's an extract from the programme that awaits you: morning workshops for 5-7 year-olds and 8-11 year-olds, sports tournaments, fun activities, archery, fishing, magic shows, concerts... You can also hire bikes on site for family outings along the route of the Loire Châteaux!

The Château de Saumur is one of the town's symbols, this medieval castle standing majestically overlooking the Loire. It now houses the Musée des Arts Décoratifs, where you can discover a collection of furniture, tapestries and objets d'art. When it comes to the Châteaux of the Loire, Saumur is strategically located close to several of the most famous châteaux in this historic region. You can visit Chambord, Chenonceau, Amboise and Villandry.

The Saumur region is also renowned for its vineyards and quality wines, especially Saumur-Champigny. You can visit many cellars and vineyards to taste local wines and learn more about the winemaking process. Saumur is a popular stop-off point along the Loire à vélo route, a cycle path that runs alongside the river and allows cyclists to discover the natural beauty of the region. For those with a passion for military history, the Musée des Blindés in Saumur is a must-see. It houses one of the largest collections of armoured vehicles in the world.
